QR Creator

Generate branded QR codes, redirect them after printing, and track scans.

QR Creator generates QR codes that you control after they are printed. The code stays the same; where it sends people does not have to.

Your generated QR codes

Create a QR Code

Go to QR Studio → QR Creator and click Create QR.

Enter a QR name.

It must be at least three characters, alphanumeric, and start with a letter. This name is for you — customers never see it — so make it findable later: table-tent-cafe-2026 beats qr1.

Enter the URL the code should open.

Any valid URL works: a survey, a catalog, an access link, your website.

Click Create. The code is generated and appears in your list.

Design the Code

Open a QR from the list and switch to Editor Mode to style it — colours, patterns and shape — so it matches your brand instead of looking like a default black square.

Editing and tracking a QR code

Keep contrast high and do not over-style. A beautiful QR that phones cannot read is worse than a plain one — always test-scan before printing, ideally from a phone that is not yours.

Change Where It Points

The destination URL is editable at any time. The printed code keeps working; the next scan goes to the new address.

This is the whole reason to use QR Creator rather than a static generator:

  • Redirect a seasonal campaign without reprinting
  • Point last year's table tents at this year's survey
  • Fix a URL that turned out to be wrong

Tracking Scans

The Statistics section shows Total Scans for the code.

Use it to compare placements: the same campaign on a receipt versus a table tent versus a poster tells you where your customers actually are.

Renaming and Managing

Use Rename QR to change the name — this does not affect the code or its destination. Search and sort in the list page header when your library grows.

Best Practices

  • Name codes by placement, not by campaign — placements outlive campaigns
  • Test-scan every code before it goes to print
  • Point QR codes at an access link when the destination may need to become several destinations
  • Leave quiet space around the code; QR readers need the margin
