Settings

The Settings page allows administrators to configure global settings for the loyalty program, including program details, notification preferences, and point expiration rules.

Loyalty program general settings

Opening Settings

To configure loyalty program settings:

  1. Open Loyalty from the sidebar.
  2. Click Settings.

The page contains two main tabs:

  • General
  • Notifications

General Settings

The General tab contains core configuration options for the loyalty program.

Basic Settings

Program Name

Defines the name of the loyalty program.

Example:

  • Hotel Loyalty
  • Restaurant Rewards

Points Currency

Defines the name used for loyalty points.

Example:

  • Points
  • Stars
  • Credits

Money Currency

Specifies the currency used for rewards and transactions.

Example:

  • INR – Indian Rupee
  • USD – US Dollar

Default Country

Defines the default country for loyalty customers.


WhatsApp Account

Select the WhatsApp account used to send loyalty notifications.


Notification Controls

This section controls how notifications are delivered.

  • Program Active – Enables or disables the loyalty program.
  • Customer Notifications – Sends alerts for point activity.
  • Auto-approve Adjustments – Skips manual approval for point changes.
  • Email Notifications – Enables email alerts.
  • WhatsApp Notifications – Enables WhatsApp alerts.

Points Expiration

Controls whether loyalty points expire after a certain time period.

Enable Expiration

When enabled, points expire after the configured period.

Expiration Period

Example:

  • 12 months
  • 24 months

Danger Zone

Contains critical administrative actions.

Reset Points

Resets all customer points to zero.

Delete Program

Deletes the entire loyalty program and its data.


Notification Templates

The Notifications tab allows administrators to configure automated WhatsApp notifications.


Transaction Notifications

Transaction notification settings

These notifications are triggered when loyalty transactions occur.

Examples include:

  • Points Earned
  • Points Adjusted
  • Reward Assigned
  • Reward Redeemed

Each notification can be enabled and linked to a WhatsApp template.


Tier Updates

Tier update notification settings

This notification is sent when a customer reaches a new loyalty tier.

Example:

  • Bronze → Silver
  • Silver → Gold

Points Reminder

Points reminder notification settings

Reminds customers when they have unused loyalty points.

Days of Inactivity

Defines how long a customer must be inactive before receiving a reminder.

Example:

  • 30 days

Birthday Reminders

Birthday notification settings

Automatically sends birthday messages and rewards.

Birthday Gift

Select the reward given to customers on their birthday.

Example:

  • Free Birthday Cake
  • Complimentary Dessert

Preview Message

Displays a preview of the WhatsApp message sent to customers.
