Before You Start
You need an Instagram professional account connected under Channels. Until then, the page shows "No Instagram accounts connected" with a Go to Settings link.
If you manage several accounts, use the account selector at the top to choose which one you are configuring — every setting on the page belongs to the selected account.
Syncing with Meta
Instagram settings live on Meta's side as well as in RateUp. Two actions keep them aligned:

Changes are not live for customers until you sync. Editing ice breakers or the persistent menu in RateUp and forgetting to sync is the most common reason "nothing changed".
Where Conversations Go
Anything a customer sends by DM becomes a ticket in the Inbox, with an Instagram badge on the row. Agents reply exactly as they would on WhatsApp.
