Inbox Layout

Understand the layout and sections of the RateUp Inbox.

The RateUp Inbox is designed to help you manage customer conversations efficiently.
It is divided into three main sections, each serving a specific purpose.


Inbox Sections Overview

The Inbox layout consists of:

  1. Left Panel – Conversation Filters
  2. Middle Panel – Conversation List
  3. Right Panel – Chat Window

Left Panel: Conversation Filters

The left panel helps you organize conversations by status and ownership.

Available filters include:

  • New – New or unassigned conversations
  • Assigned – Conversations assigned to team members
  • Mine – Conversations assigned to you
  • Closed – Resolved conversations

You can quickly switch between these views to manage your workload.


Middle Panel: Conversation List

The middle panel displays a list of customer conversations.

From here, you can:

  • View recent conversations
  • Search by phone number or contact name
  • See conversation status and assignment

Clicking a conversation opens it in the chat window.


Right Panel: Chat Window

The chat window shows the selected customer conversation.

You can:

  • View message history
  • Send replies to customers
  • Use quick reply buttons (if available)
  • Assign or close the conversation using top controls

This is where most interaction with customers happens.


  • Use filters to focus on relevant conversations
  • Assign conversations to avoid duplicate replies
  • Close conversations once they are resolved
