How to export responses from Survey

RateUp provides facility to export the responses from each survey for your further analytics. Mainly there are types of export available.

1. Google Sheet Sync

You can sync the responses into your Google sheet account. This features adds responses to google sheet whenever a user submit a response if the sheet is synced to the rateup.

To sync the response,

• Go to the Result tab of survey whose responses you want to export.
• Switch to Response tab
• If the responses are available, then export button will be enabled in the right end. Click on that.
• Click on Sync to Google Sheet.
• If google sheet account is not synced to the RateUp, a modal appear to redirect to the settings. You can also directly go to advanced settings tab in the setting.
• Click on Sync Account.
• Give the consent to access the google drive from the selected account and then continue.
• Once it is synced, You can go to Survey page and Click on Sync to Google Sheet.
• Then, the current response will be exported to Google sheet. Also any incoming response will be added.
• You can also resync the response, which will rewrite all the available response to sheet.
• The sheet will be available in your drive in RateUp folder having name of survey.
• If you couldn't find the sheet,go to the survey setting page. Move to Google Sheet section where you will find the link to the sheet.

2. Excel Download

You can also download responses in xlsx file. To do that,

• Go to the Result tab of survey whose responses you want to export.
• Switch to Response tab
• If the responses are available, then export button will be enabled in the right end. Click on that.
• Click on Excel Download.

Note that the incoming responses will not automatically added to the sheet in excel download.

3. Import Contacts

If your survey has Contact Question, then the import contacts option will be available in responses. It saves contacts recieved from the responses to Contacts in WhatsApp section. To import contacts,

• Go to the Result tab of survey whose responses you want to export.
• Switch to Response tab
• If the responses are available, then export button will be enabled in the right end. Click on that.
• Click on Import Contacts.
