Other Questions

In addition to contact, nps, choice and input type questions, rateup also provides following questions:

Testimonial

Testimonial question used to get testimonial from the respondent. These testimonials will be stored in testimonial section also. You can also enable/disable rating, jobTitle and photo field. By default these field will be disabled.

To add Testimonial Question,

  1. Click on Add Content in edit tab of selected Survey and then click on Testimonial under Other Questions.
  2. A blank Testimonial question will be created.
  3. Give question in text editor.
  4. Enable rating, jobTitle and photo according to your preferences. Photo has option to Capture and upload photo.
  5. If multiple langauges are selected, Switch the language in the right of text editor and repeat the step 3 & 4 in the selected language.

Email OTP

Email OTP provides the facility to create a question which can generate an OTP which will be sent to the provided email. Then user has to provide OTP that has been sent. The respondent can move to next question only if the OTP is valid. The generated OTP will be valid for 10 minutes. It also provides an addditional security by providing an option to restrict the emails. Then only the people whose email ID is in the list can get OTP.

To add Email OTP question,

  1. Click on Add Content in edit tab of selected Survey and then click on Email OTP under Other Questions.

  2. A blank Email OTP will be created.

  3. Give information in text editor.

  4. By default, All Emails will be selected. In order to restrict emails, switch to Email from list and then add email IDs.

  5. There are two ways to add email Ids:

    • Importing from file: Select the Method Import from file. Then click on field which mention Click to select file. Then upload your file. Only csv and xlsx files having maximum 10mb are supported. The sheet should have the field which is mentioned in right.
    • Add Manually : Select the Method Add Manually. Give email Id in the field and click Add.
  6. If multiple langauges are selected, Switch the language in the right of text editor and repeat the step 3 in the selected language.

Wheel of Price

Wheel of Price provides the facility to create a question which will provide a spinnable wheel of prices or gifts. The user can spin wheel and it will automatically stop pointing the center arrow to a random price or gift. The pointed price will be stored as response.

To add Wheel of price question,

  1. Click on Add Content in edit tab of selected Survey and then click on Wheel of price under Other Questions.
  2. A blank Wheel of price will be created with two gift cards in the wheel.
  3. Give information in text editor.
  4. Enter gifts in segment of array field and press enter.
  5. Enter suitable color for the added gift in segColors field. For each gift, a color should be added.
  6. If you want backgroud image for the wheel, give an link to the image in the image url field.
  7. Give proper wheel size and colors
    • Primary Color: Colors the section line
    • Primary Color around: Colors the border of wheel and also spin button
    • Contrast Color: Colors the font
  8. If multiple langauges are selected, Switch the language in the right of text editor and repeat the step 3 in the selected language.

Terms & Conditions

It is suitable when you have to take consent for the Terms & Conditions from the respondent.

To add Terms & Conditions Question,

  1. Click on Add Content in edit tab of selected Survey and then click on Terms & Conditions under Other Questions.
  2. A blank Terms & Conditions question will be created.
  3. Give question in text editor.
  4. Give following details:
    • Title: Indicate the starting text for the agreement.
    • Url Text: A link Text which appears next to title. When clicked on this text, agreement conditions list will be popped up.
    • Terms Content: Here you can provide all the details about terma and conditions.
  5. If multiple langauges are selected, Switch the language in the right of text editor and repeat the step 3 & 4 in the selected language.

Info Message

Info Message are useful when you have to give any information for the survey without taking any user response.

To add Info Message,

  1. Click on Add Content in edit tab of selected Survey and then click on Info Message under Other Questions.
  2. A blank Info Message will be created.
  3. Give information in text editor.
  4. If multiple langauges are selected, Switch the language in the right of text editor and repeat the step 3 in the selected language.
